This week’s project is spidertie.com. Not a bad site by any means but it definately needed a face lift. A static site prior to the make over with very little to keep the visitor’s attention. According to the stats, 80% left after a view of the home page. The site was moved to a wordpress theme and has increased use of screen real estate and a lot of content above the fold.

Spider Tie Website Makeover

We’re beautifying the internet one website at a time.

The release was Monday, June 7th and already the increase in inquiries and traffic has been a notable improvement. To see the full site go to www.spidertie.com. Congratulations to Greg McDonagh, owner of Spider Tie© Inc.
Here are a few before and after shots.

Before - static site with nothing to keep the visitor's attention

spiderafter 150x150 Spider Tie Website Makeover

After - Dynamic, engaging, and plenty of content above the fold.

“I’m very happy with the new site. It’s new look and increased content has increased interest. The ability to add my own content is a bonus that allows me to manage my site without constantly involving the support team.

After the new site was deployed, I was able to find an individual, Travis Marble, who could give me the individual attention support I needed with very little instruction on how it worked. Intuitive and easy to maintain there was no lapse in support when Travis took over.”
